Frequent Asked Questions

No! Our classes are for everyone from a true beginner to the advanced dancer. We see dancers who are stepping up to a ballet barre for the very first time, dancers who are returning to their passion after decades away, and dancers who are continuing to do what they love. We are all here for a different purpose. Every level of dancer is welcome.

Wear anything you like! Some dancers choose to wear traditional ballet leotards and tights, others prefer leggings and t-shirts.

Give them all a try to see where you feel comfortable. Our beginner classes are meant for students who have little to no prior dance experience. Our intermediate/advanced classes are meant for students who have taken dance previously (no matter how many years ago). However, feel free to take class in whichever level you feel most comfortable.

For your first class please feel free to wear socks or ballet shoes. Ballet shoes will work for any class. We recommend ballet shoes for ballet and stretch classes, any style jazz shoe for jazz, any style tap shoe for tap, sneakers for hip hop, and barefoot for contemporary.

If you miss a class, you are welcome to attend another class in it's place within the same month. If you miss class during the final week of the month, feel free to attend an additional class the following week. We will work with you!

No! Although dancers are enrolled in specific classes, feel free to attend a different style as a make up. For example, if you are enrolled in a Wednesday ballet class, you may attend a Monday tap class as a make up.

Absolutely! We have two ways for friends to join you absolutely free. You may accompany a  friend to a free, Saturday trial class or your friends can join you for as many classes as they like during our Bring a Friend weeks. See our calendar for dates!

It's okay! We offer a true judgement free zone. Our community of dancers offer encouragement and support to all levels of dancers. Our instructors will guide you through class and provide tips to encourage growth.

No worries! As adults who are dancing for the love of dance, to support our physical health, or just to get out of the house, there are no requirements to meet during class. Dancers are encouraged to modify movements to best suite their body. Classes are meant to be fun!
